The Gospel of Luke was the book I invested the most study in during my time at Talbot School of Theology. Let me share with you something that struck me during that time. Each case of Jesus loving the poor, the crippled, the blind and the paralyzed touched my heart, at times to the point where it seed like my heart would just melt. Since then, the quesiton, "What can I do for these people?" has continually echoed in my heart.
The process of building this website was not smooth. As the launch date was pushed back again and again friends laughed and said, "Good things come to those who wait!" In the middle of this frustration, God brought Kei and Jelly, a pair with experience in universal access websites, into the picture. Universal access has to be built into a website from the very beginning, and it takes more time and money as well. However, when I thought of the mercy Jesus showed to these people, none of that mattered anymore. They are worth the extra effort because Jesus loves them so much.
There are more than 54 million disabled people in America. The number is much lower in Taiwan, but even if only one disabled person receives comfort and encouragement from our site, all the extra effort will be worth it!
