Acceptance of Terms

For your own protection, please ensure that you register as a member of Lifting Hands Network and carefully read all stipulations of the TOS before accessing member services. By clicking “Accept” on the Member Registration page, you indicate that you have read and accept the TOS, Copyright Notice and Privacy Policy of Lifting Hands Network and agree to receive its services and abide by its policies. Lifting Hands Network reserves the right to edit or update this TOS at any time. As such we recommend that you regularly check the Lifting Hands Network website for updates and announcements. Continued use of services after any such edit or update constitutes acceptance thereof, and indicates that you have read and understood it. If you do not accept the content of the TOS or they are in whole or in part excluded by laws in effect in your locality, you should immediately stop using the services of Lifting Hands Network.

Member Services

  • By using Lifting Hands Network services, you indicate compliance with all rules, warnings and restrictions of Lifting Hands Network, and any applicable local laws. Lifting Hands Network provides a variety of online products and services. Users must provide their own means of accessing the Internet and assume all responsibilities and costs involved.
  • Some services require individual registration or payment. Upon making payment, the user is responsible to follow all rules and guidelines specific to that service as indicated on the web page.

Agreement of Legal Compliance

  • Members agree not only to abide by this TOS, but also by the laws of the State of California and the laws of the member's point of operation as well as international Internet norms and standards of etiquette. Members agree not to use Lifting Hands Network to infringe upon the rights of anyone or engage in any illegal activities including, but not limited to:
    1. Using Lifting Hands Network services to harm, attack or violate the rights of any Lifting Hands Network management, staff, consultants, related enterprises, advertisers or business partners;
    2. Engaging in any advertising or marketing practices;
    3. Stealing, misappropriating, changing, collecting or damaging others’ personal information, or copying such information without authorization whether for sale or to transmit it in any other manner;
    4. Posting material that is unrelated to the purposes of this site, or that is false or in anyway leads others to false conclusions;
    5. Uploading, posting, emailing, transmitting or otherwise making available any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
    6. Violating the reputation, privacy, trade secrets, intellectual property or related rights of others or being likely to do so;
    7. Disseminating or uploading viruses, or anything other code that could harm or disrupt the proper operation of computer software or hardware;
    8. Using someone else’s password or entering another person’s account without their approval;
    9. Any other activity that harms communications, violates related laws, or is likely to do so.
  • When using discussion boards or posting comments, members agree to maintain absolute respect for the rights and privacy of others. If Lifting Hands Network detects, or others raise a complaint that anyone has violated any of the above conditions or is likely to do so, Lifting Hands Network reserves the right not only to delete the content in question without informing the one who posted it, but also to immediately terminate or suspend the offending user’s account and ability to access any and all member services. If such actions cause any damages or loss to Lifting Hands Network, it may take legal actions to acquire compensation from the offending user. Lifting Hands Network will not be held responsible for any content that users post, send, or transmit through its services. It is not responsible to screen or edit such content, nor does it take any responsibility for the truth or falsehood of such content.

Suspension and Interruption of Services

  • Under the following circumstances Lifting Hands Network may suspend or terminate its services, and in such an event will make every effort to first provide appropriate notification to users:
    1. In order to maintain, update and install system equipment;
    2. When this site’s server, telecom equipment, or that of third-party service providers experience technical difficulties;
    3. When circumstances beyond the control of Lifting Hands Network leave us unable to provide standard services.
  • Members are responsible to take measures to protect themselves. In the case of any of the above reasons, or because Lifting Hands Network, third-parties or telecom providers should experience hardware or software errors or disruption, or human error should cause partial or complete interruption of service, possibly resulting in inconvenience, error, distortion or financial loss, the user hereby agrees to seek no damages or compensation in any form from Lifting Hands Network.

Termination or Alteration of Services

  • Lifting Hands Network may at any time terminate, update, delete or edit any element of its free services, or cancel, terminate or restrict part or all privileges of a non-paying member. In such a case, the member hereby agrees to seek no reparations or damages. Under no circumstances does Lifting Hands Network accept any responsibility for any difficulty, inconvenience or loss caused by the disruption or termination of its free services or the accounts of non-paying members.
  • Lifting Hands Network has final say in determining whether or not user behavior complies with the TOS. In cases of violations of the TOS, Lifting Hands Network reserves the right to terminate or suspend services at any time without incurring any liability for reparations or damages to the user.

Limitation of Liability

  • You agree to use Lifting Hands Network services and to accept sole responsibility for any risks involved, including any data loss or damage to computer systems resulting from downloading data or files from Lifting Hands Network.
  • Lifting Hands Network makes no guarantees that its services will be stable, safe, error-free or uninterrupted and accepts no responsibility for any explicit or implied warranties. You accept sole responsibility for any risk or possible damages resulting from use of Lifting Hands Network services.
  • Lifting Hands Network makes no guarantees regarding the outcomes of using the products and services it provides.
  • You agree that Lifting Hands Network shall not be liable to you for any punitive, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if Lifting Hands Network has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from the use or the inability to use Lifting Hands Network services.
  • Any links provided on any Lifting Hands Network web pages or material, whether they connect to individual or corporate web sites, are provided only to make information more accessible to you as the user. Lifting Hands Network makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, usability or availability of any products or services accessed through these links.

  • You and Lifting Hands Network each agree that the TOS and the relationship between the parties shall be governed by the laws of Republic of China without regard to its conflict of law provisions and that any and all claims, causes of action or disputes (regardless of theory) arising out of or relating to the TOS, or the relationship between you and Lifting Hands Network, shall be brought exclusively in the Taiwan Taipei District Court.
  • You and Lifting Hands Network agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Taipei, Taiwan, and agree to waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over the parties by such courts and to venue in such courts.
