During this season, I have been deeply reminded that God’s timing is often different from what we expect.
After five months of effort, and with the help of Dr. Michael Sytsma, we have finally made progress on obtaining translation permission for three videos produced by Focus on the Family, featuring Secrets of Sex and Marriage authors Shaunti Feldhahn and Dr. Sytsma.
Although the outcome was not what we had initially hoped for—we are not permitted to directly produce Chinese-subtitled versions of the videos, but instead have been invited to serve as volunteer translators so that Chinese viewers can select subtitles on the platform—God has still opened a way forward.
The Taipei International Book Exhibition has now passed, along with the most critical promotional window for a new book release. During this time of waiting, I found myself wrestling with many questions. Some requests seemed like they could have been answered quickly, yet took months. I wondered why there was such delay.
But through prayer and waiting, God gently revealed what was in my own heart—my impatience, my tendency to rush, and my desire to push things forward in my own way.
Little by little, I have been learning to surrender control back to God and to trust His purposes even in uncertainty. When I truly let go of the outcome and rested in Him, I began to experience unexpected grace. Dr. Sytsma created a promotional reel for the Chinese edition (https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1DfkCG12WD/?mibextid=wwXIfr), and shortly afterward, we received the long-awaited response regarding the translation.
God was not silent. He was shaping me in the waiting—and preparing the right path in His time.
Moving forward, once Chinese subtitles become available for the three interview videos, we hope to begin a second wave of promotion for Secrets of Sex and Marriage.
Praise Reports

2. An article published in the Christian Tribune, “When Love Becomes a Trap,” has received many positive responses.
3. Our book-sharing event on March 21 went very well—every copy we brought was sold out, and we needed to send additional books afterward.
Prayer Requests
1. Pray that I would remain sensitive to the needs of this generation, and be able to write messages that truly connect with people and reach those who do not yet know Christ.
2. Pray that God would open more doors for us to serve in schools, companies, churches, and communities through training and speaking opportunities.
3. Pray that God would use the books and resources we publish to bring healing to relationships, and to help people grow deeper in their relationship with Him.
